The verdict
A very good day out, sold at a price that belongs to a different product. The guided version — leader, winery lunch, two wine tastings, e-bike and helmet, group capped at twelve — earns its 4.7 across 107 reviews. The €45 headline does not buy it.
The provider states it inside its own inclusion list, in capitals: the local expert tour leader, the winery visit with lunch, the wine tasting and the second tasting are all not included in the self-guided option. Book on price and you are renting an electric bike with a route suggestion. Everything the title promises sits in the guided version.
There is a second cost nobody mentions until checkout. The exclusions list a €20.00 per person non-refundable vehicle damage cover, or a €200 refundable card deposit — and cash is not accepted. So whichever version you take, add €20 a head or be ready to put €200 on a card at the garage.
And the thing the listing never says at all: reviewers who did the guided ride describe covering 40 kilometers, or 23 miles. Electric assistance makes Tuscan hills possible rather than effortless. If you have not been on a bike this year, that is the number to sit with before booking.
Hard limits from the provider: minimum height 150 cm (4’11”) and minimum age 14 to ride the electric bikes. It is also not wheelchair accessible and not recommended for travelers with back problems. The height rule in particular rules out most children, so this is not the Tuscan family day it can look like.

If the ride itself is what you want and you would rather find your own lunch, the self-guided option is a perfectly reasonable bike rental — just do not expect the tour described in the title. If you want what the title describes, select the guided version and check that the price you are paying reflects it before you confirm.

Forty kilometers and twenty-three miles are the same ride, reported independently two months apart, which is about as reliable as crowd-sourced distance gets. The other consistent note is the guiding style: led but not hovered over, which is the right instinct for a group of twelve on bikes.
How it fits a Florence trip
This takes a full day and legs that still work the next morning, so put the city walking either side of it rather than adjacent. The Florence walking tour with the David and the Duomo is the natural companion at two and a half to three and a half hours.
