ATVO bus to Piazzale Roma

First, ATVO’s line 351 links Treviso airport with Mestre station and Venice Piazzale Roma. The ride takes about 30 minutes to Mestre and about 40 minutes to Venice. In addition, ATVO says buses follow the flight schedule, and a run is canceled if its flight is canceled.

As for tickets, you can buy them at the machine in the baggage claim area, at the ticket desks in Arrivals, online or in the app. Your ticket is digital, and luggage is unlimited. To find the stop, leave Arrivals, cross the pedestrian bridge and follow the signs. The stop is about 80 meters from the exit, toward Via Noalese, and its ticket machine works 24 hours a day. ATVO moved its airport stop on July 1, 2026, so follow the signs on the day.

ATVO doesn’t publish its current fare on its public pages, and it has announced a fare update. So check the price when you buy. Also, its winter timetable runs from October 25, 2026, to March 27, 2027, so look up the new times for your date.

Barzi bus to Tronchetto

Barzi Service runs a direct coach to Mestre station and Venezia Tronchetto, about once an hour, as its website states. A one-way ticket costs €10 and a return €18. Children under 10 ride free, and luggage is included. You can buy online, at the Barzi desk in the airport, at the tourist information office or on board at no extra cost.

However, Tronchetto is not Piazzale Roma. Barzi lists Tronchetto with the People Mover, so plan one more short ride if your hotel is in the historic center. Barzi’s new timetable also starts on October 25, 2026.

Bus and train via Treviso station

For a rail route, take the Treviso Airlink run by Mobilità di Marca (MOM) to Treviso station. The ride takes 10 minutes, and buses leave the airport every 30 minutes from 6:10 am to 10:40 pm (there’s no 2:40 pm departure). Children under 4 ride free. A ticket costs €5 and lasts 24 hours on the whole Treviso city network. You can also tap a contactless card on board.

Luggage up to 12 kg and 55 x 50 x 25 cm rides free, while a bigger bag costs €2 at a ticket outlet or €4 on board. Alternatively, Trenitalia sells a single Treviso AirLink ticket for bus and train together: choose “Treviso Aeroporto” as your starting point on any Trenitalia channel. On this ticket, the bus leg takes about 15 minutes, and Trenitalia doesn’t sell it on its own. Then, from Treviso station, trains run to Venezia Santa Lucia. We couldn’t confirm the train time or fare, so check them on Trenitalia.

Arriving late at night

MOM lists its last bus from the airport at 10:40 pm. ATVO and Barzi start new timetables on October 25, 2026, so check their last departure for your date. After that, Radio Taxi Treviso answers 24 hours a day.

Which option should you choose?

  • On a budget, or staying in Mestre: compare ATVO and Barzi, since both stop at Mestre station.
  • Heading elsewhere in the Veneto by train: the MOM bus to Treviso station.
  • Groups with luggage: a transfer booked ahead.
