ADLER Dolomiti
A wellness-oriented mountain base in Ortisei for Val Gardena, Seceda and the surrounding Dolomites.
Why consider this stay
ADLER Dolomiti is in one of Val Gardena’s most practical bases for combining village services with lifts, trails and winter-sports infrastructure. Lift schedules, trail conditions and seasonal closures should always be checked.
Location and arrival
Ortisei is reached by road or bus from rail hubs such as Bolzano and Bressanone. Confirm transfers, parking and lift operating dates for the exact travel period.
Where ADLER Spa Resort Dolomiti is, and why the location matters
ADLER Spa Resort Dolomiti is at Via Rezia 7, in the heart of Ortisei, the main village of Val Gardena in the Dolomites. This is a 5-star resort in the village center, not an isolated mountain lodge: tour operators list the nearest bus stop about 50 m (55 yards) away and a supermarket at a similar distance.
The ski access is the standout. The resort says an escalator leads from its ski room to the Seceda cable car, and the Alpe di Siusi gondola is a few minutes’ walk away. One tour operator lists the nearest lift about 200 m (220 yards) from the hotel. In summer, the same lifts carry hikers up to the high pastures, and guests get free e-bike hire.
Getting there
- From Innsbruck Airport (INN): about 2 hours by coach, according to one tour operator.
- From Verona Airport (VRN): about 3 hours by coach; private transfers from Venice are offered by the resort for a fee.
- By train: the resort names Bolzano and Ponte Gardena as rail stations; continue by bus or taxi up the valley.
- By car: free parking on site, with charging stations for electric cars.

Who it suits, and who should look elsewhere
A good fit if you want a full resort in the village: a 3,500 m² (about 37,700 sq ft) spa, indoor and outdoor pools, a salt-water pool and a kids’ club for ages 4 to 10, with half board available.
Look elsewhere if you want a small, simple base, or you are traveling on a tight budget. The salt grotto is adults only and charged separately, €15 per person for 90 minutes (listed October 2026), and massages cost extra.
