Collaborate with Italy2Love

Writers, creators, photographers and local experts: let’s create useful, original stories that help international travellers discover Italy.

FOR TRAVEL CREATORS, WRITERS, PHOTOGRAPHERS AND LOCAL STORYTELLERS

Let’s create better ways to discover Italy

Italy2Love helps international travellers discover Italy through practical guides, connected destinations, local experiences and stories grounded in real places.

We believe the most useful travel content often begins with collaboration: a local perspective, an original photograph, first-hand knowledge, a specialist’s insight or a story that deserves to reach a wider audience.

If you are a travel blogger, content creator, photographer, filmmaker, journalist or local expert, we would be happy to hear what we could create together.

Who we collaborate with

We welcome proposals from:

  • Travel writers and independent bloggers
  • Social media creators and videomakers
  • Travel photographers
  • Podcasters and newsletter publishers
  • Local experts and destination specialists
  • Food, wine, culture and outdoor storytellers
  • Italians living abroad and international residents in Italy
  • Researchers and professionals working in tourism
  • Creators with specialist audiences, from family travel to accessible, luxury, slow or sustainable travel

Audience size is not the only thing that matters. A distinctive point of view, reliable knowledge and genuine relevance to travellers are often more valuable than follower numbers alone.

Ways we can work together

Co-created travel guides

We can combine our editorial and search expertise with your first-hand knowledge to produce practical destination guides, itineraries or thematic resources.

Interviews and expert contributions

Share specialist insight, local recommendations or a perspective that helps travellers make better decisions.

Photography and visual stories

Contribute original photographs, short videos or visual narratives that reveal a place beyond the usual postcard image.

Creator features

Introduce your work, approach and relationship with Italy through an interview or editorial profile when it offers genuine value to our readers.

Social collaborations

Develop joint posts, reels, carousels, live conversations or coordinated coverage across our respective channels.

Research and resource exchange

Collaborate on source-checked information, destination data, seasonal travel insights, practical checklists or other useful resources.

We are also open to other formats. If you have a strong idea that does not fit these categories, tell us about it.

Mutual visibility, handled thoughtfully

A good collaboration should benefit the creator, Italy2Love and, above all, the traveller.

Depending on the project, collaboration may include:

  • Clear author or contributor credit
  • A short biography and links to relevant channels
  • Promotion through Italy2Love’s social platforms
  • Coordinated publication across both audiences
  • Mentions within relevant destination or thematic content
  • Opportunities for future editorial projects

Every collaboration is evaluated individually. We do not guarantee publication, rankings, traffic or social reach, and we do not participate in automatic backlink exchanges.

Editorial mentions and links must always be useful, relevant and transparent. Any sponsored or commercial relationship will be clearly identified.

What we are looking for

The strongest proposals are:

  • Specific to a destination, experience or traveller need
  • Based on genuine knowledge or original work
  • Useful to an international, English-speaking audience
  • Accurate and verifiable
  • Consistent with Italy2Love’s editorial approach
  • Supported by content and visuals that you own or are authorised to use

We are especially interested in lesser-known places, local traditions, seasonal travel, food and wine, outdoor experiences, artisan culture and practical ways to experience Italy more meaningfully.

Send us your idea

To help us evaluate your proposal, please include:

  • A short introduction about you
  • Your website and social channels
  • The destination or subject you would like to cover
  • Your proposed collaboration format
  • Links to relevant examples of your work
  • What you could contribute
  • What you would expect from Italy2Love
  • Confirmation that you own or can license any submitted material

You do not need to send a finished article. A clear and thoughtful idea is enough to begin the conversation.
